Copying Documents and ID

by Anne Watcher on Wednesday January 30th, 2008 at 10:43am

It is always important to have copies of your passport, driver's license, birth certificate and flight tickets. If these are lost or stolen you can spend days waiting for copies to arrival at your local embassy.

If you have a digital camera, photograph them and copy them on to flash drives and your home computer. If you don't have a camera, buy a throw-away one and then two or three CD's made at the store.

Carry one copy with you and leave the others in a safe place that can be accessed by family at home.
