Ques-a-dillas OR Case-o-dias?

By Rob & Anne  •  January 27, 2026
It’s ironic how quickly things can turn. For the last 13 days, we have been on an absolute streak—feeling fantastic, staying healthy, and walking everywhere this city has to allow. We really felt like we had hit our stride.

Then came last night. Somewhere in the middle of our sleep, the rumble started. We both woke up with our stomachs in knots, and that was the end of our streak. Today has been a total washout; we've been confined to bed all day, feeling miserable and weak.

Now we're left playing the guessing game: was it something in those quesadillas we ate for dinner last night, or just a bad "case-o-dias" (a 24-hour flu)?

Whatever the culprit, we are keeping our fingers crossed that this is just a quick blip. Hopefully, tomorrow brings a fresh start and gets us back on our feet.
